Experience some of the greatest eras of watch designs with the classically elegant range of Geckota Workshop watches…
The First Release of W-02 - The Vintage Chronograph
Released in August 2019, the W-02 - alongside the W-01 - introduced the start of Geckota’s Workshop collection. The W-02 offered a Chronograph option to the Workshop collection, found in three classic case finishings.
The W-02 features a silver stamped grain dial, with a smooth recessed outer ring for the tachymeter ensuring ultimate readability. Finer details such as the rose gold or gold chamfered hands and elongated indices add elegance to the silver dial, completed with a heat blued chronograph and subdial hands. This centred chronograph hand sits stationary until the top pusher is used, where it begins to count stopwatch seconds.
Simple touches of contrasting metal tones emphasises the W-02’s elegance, where this design element is found on the handset and crown & pushers accordingly.
Due to the success of the original Workshop range, both the silver and rose gold versions are now back in stock! Fitted to a supple leather strap, this range is a flagship member of the Geckota collection. Explore the W-02 Vintage Chronograph here!
Introducing the W-02 Vintage Military Chronograph
One of the newest editions to be released in the Workshop collection is the W-02 Vintage Military Chronograph, a model which takes inspiration from the iconic military chronographs from the 50s and 60s.
With an ultra-legible dial, striking vintage lume and even a telemeter scale (something historically used as an artillery range finder), the new military chronograph is hard wearing and practical, with the touch of class that you would expect from a classic 50/60s design.
The military version maintains the same case design and movement as the W-02 Vintage Chronograph - see below for overall W-02 details! - expanding this collection to offer more options and styles at an affordable price. Two dial options show the military style with either black or white subdials, a subtle difference which transforms the overall look of each one.
Its vintage inspired handset provides a high contrast against the black matte dial for ultimate readability and legibility. If a vintage inspired military chronograph is what you’re after, then you can explore this new edition here!
Introducing the W-02 Vintage Racing Chronograph
Experience the spirit of vintage racing, one of the greatest eras of watch design, with this classical mechanical chronograph. Back by popular demand after the success of the W-02 dress chronograph, this evolved version of the design comes in two colour options and is a great chance to own a classically inspired chronograph at an affordable price.
Each dial features two contrast matte dials with contrasting bold subdials. In line with the other W-02 models, the right subdial has a 30 minute counter, accompanied by a running seconds subdial on the left. Familiarly referred to as ‘panda’ & ‘reversed panda’ dials, the racing W-02 is inspired by beloved, timeless designs which have been built throughout classic eras in history.
Slender polished hands & indices are filled with dashes of super-luminova lume with painted black lines running down the centre of the hands, and minute marker runs around the edge of the dial for ultimate precision.

Overall Workshop Collection Stats and Details
The heart of the W-02 is made up from the Seagull ST19 Hand Wound Mechanical Chronograph movement and offers a power reserve of around 42 hours. This detailed movement can be seen through its crystal clear case back, another subtle feature which heightens the sophistication of the W-02.
Case and Glass
The same case (made from 316L stainless steel) shape is used for both the W-01 and W-02, with minimal differences which transform the design of each piece. Sitting comfortably at 37mm, with a lug-to-lug size of 47mm, the Workshop collection fits 18mm straps making it a perfect choice for anyone who is looking for a vintage dress watch.
