Inspired by classic timepieces of the 1950s, the Ensign introduces a classic taste to our current range of watches. This is a watch designed for those who want to experience one of the greatest eras of watch design at a price they can afford. With a sapphire crystal and robust construction this is a watch which looks vintage but is ready for everyday wear.
The Ensign dial is made up of many levels to create depth and stunning contrast. Featuring a sunken subdial, a stamped concentric circle texture and applied hour markers. The polished gold hands, hour markers and subdial ring contrast the subtle sunburst dial and brushed finish of the case.
The Ensign boasts a striking dial that boasts multiple levels, adding depth and contrast. The gold hands and sleek details stand out against the sunburst dial and brushed case, creating a timeless look.
Using the reliable VD78 movement, the subdial at the 6 hour marker keeps track of seconds.
Each Geckota Ensign comes fitted to our high quality Stanway vintage v-stitch genuine Italian suede dress strap. Every watch also comes with a manual included and packed in our high quality Geckota watch box. To see an online version of our watch manual click here.
The Ensign houses the VK64 movement. Manufactured by Seiko, the VK64 is a hybrid mecaquartz movement. It is a chronograph movement that uses quartz for the main functions and a mechanical module for the chronograph. Part of this includes a smoother sweeping chronograph hand, as opposed to the slightly choppier ticking hand found on standard chronographs.
