K1 Pilot Range
A vintage pilot's watch range by Geckota
What attracts you to pilot watches? Is it their clear, dials or the opportunity to demonstrate your personal involvement in aviation? Or being able to connect with a century of aviation going back to the days of Santos-Dumont, Lindbergh and the iconic Fliegeruhren developed in 1930s Germany.
Whether you just want an easy-to-read three-hand watch, or you love anything to do with aviation, our new K1 range in 40 mm and 44 mm (exc. crown) versions, offers even higher quality than its popular Miyota-powered forerunners.
Comments from owners say everything about these respectful homages to the pilot watches of the 1940s: ‘...u get a lot for the price tag, i.e. sapphire crystal and Seiko automatic movement...’or ‘This is a fantastic watch that keeps great time.’. And how about this one: ‘Super watch, feels lot more expensive. Great flieger and fast delivery, very pleased’.
In the Geckota tradition, these watches are well made quality products offering excellent value for money in a range of styles, 40 mm and 44 mm case diameters (exc. crown), new models and special editions of existing models.
The latest K1 pilot watches are powered by the reliable, tried and tested Japanese Seiko NH35 automatic movement with hand winding, hacking and a 41-hour power reserve when fully wound. Add impressive lume for clear legibility in dark cockpits (or your bedroom at 3 am) and you’re ready for take off.
The Geckota K1 watch has many special features to enhance your use of this timepiece. There’s the bevelled-edge sapphire crystal to protect the clear dial, a chunky (but not overbearing on smaller wrists) 316L stainless steel case, that bright Swiss BGW9 lume and a reassuring screw-down crown to complement the K1's 100 m water resistance when you enter the water.
