We are excited to be finally showcasing our newest watch collaboration with Surfers Against Sewage, the UK’s leading marine conservation and campaigning charity. The organization does incredible work towards protecting our oceans, beaches and rivers – engaging local communities into climate action on a national scale and bringing legislative change in Parliament for a cleaner future for our waters.
We are grateful for working alongside Surfers Against Sewage the last few months in collaborating on this new G-02 model. We struck on a design that we felt best represented Surfers Against Sewage, taking inspiration from their organisation’s colours and the messaging they stood behind.
The Geckota G-02 Surfers Against Sewage Collaboration is now available to purchase from our site for £199, with £50 of every sale going to fund their important marine conservation work.
The dial of the G-02 Surfers Against Sewage Collaboration uses a shade of blue familiar to the Surfers Against Sewage brand, designed with a stamped motif that resembles gentle ocean waves. We accented the dial with silver hour markers and hands, generously applied with Super-LumiNova ® lume for excellent readability even in murky waters, capable of 200 metres of water resistance. The dial is housed in a brushed stainless-steel case measuring at 40mm, featuring a unidirectional divers bezel and domed scratch-resistant sapphire crystal.
The screw-down caseback is engraved with the Surfers Against Sewage logo and name, surrounded by the organisation’s ethos of “Thriving Ocean – Thriving People”. Every G-02 Surfers Against Sewage Collaboration watch comes fitted on a custom Surfers Against Sewage NATO strap, a bright striped fabric watch strap inspired by the colours behind their ongoing campaigns, such as the 1 Million Mile Beach Clean. The NATO strap comes fitted with stainless-steel buckles and keepers, with the ‘Surfers Against Sewage’ name and motto stitched onto the underside.
