Inspired by our own passions for travel and adventure, we launched the Geckota Ocean-Scout watch earlier this year, a timepiece designed specifically to accompany you on your next voyage.
Today, we’re excited to announce a brand-new model to join our already expansive Ocean-Scout collection. Joining our Raven Black, Royal Blue and Emerald Green models is a new durable adventure timepiece with a Sienna Brown bezel and a black dial with golden hardware. The case is available as before in stainless steel or now with warm gold-plating.

A cursory glimpse at the new Geckota Ocean-Scout Sienna Brown watch reveals an aesthetic inspired by a vintage era of travel and sea borne exploration. The 38.5mm marine grade 316L stainless steel case is efficiently engineered to withstand the conditions of travel, boasting box crystal with anti-reflective coating for protection and legibility of the dial and a screw down crown to ensure a comfortable 200 metres of water resistance.
On top, the new Sienna Brown bezel adds warmth to the classic adventure watch, coloured in Pantone 7594C to give it a refreshingly vintage, autumnal hue. Like before, the bezel rotates unidirectionally and offers a white printed 60 minute dive scale and a golden luminous pip at 12 o’clock. This is perfect for ocean-bound adventurers that want to test out its 200 metre water resistance.

You’ll notice the case and lugs have also been specifically designed to accommodate straps of every genre, with particular attention paid to how a military nylon strap would secure to the housing. As always, there is no shortage of straps to choose from for the Geckota Ocean-Scout Sienna Brown watch including those of engineered from military nylon and calfskin leather.
It’s no secret that the dial of our Ocean-Scout is designed for instant legibility, utilising the classic 3, 6, 9 layout with raised double baton markers loudly signalling the 12 o’clock position. For the first time, the adventure watch presents a black dial with contrasting gold hardware for the indexes, numerals and hands. Again, the use of gold and matching beige-coloured lume transforms the modern adventure watch to one with added vintage stylings.

The screw down case back, neatly engraved with a compass logo to embody the ethos of this design, hides our premium automatic-winding Miyota 9039 movement. The slim movement helps keep our case nice and low on the wrist, measuring to just 11.8mm tall. It has 24 jewels, a frequency of 28,800vph and a power reserve of 42 hours. For those daredevils out there, we’ve also ensured the movement has a Parashock anti-shock system for extra reliability.
