Many small but important details are part of our watches, which, as an owner, you may not initially notice and may never be aware of. To help shine some light on this, we are publishing a series of articles which will discuss and highlight some of these, and today, in this article, we are taking a more detailed look at the hands that are used in the Pioneer.
The hands are custom-made, and we have used a different handset on the new special edition version of the Pioneer. The hands have a central ridge, which helps to give the hands a more refined, considered, and stylish appearance as the angled surface of the hands reflects the light in the same way as on a polished diamond.

The hands are filled with top-quality luminous material, the colour of which is perfectly matched to that of the raised and filled hour markers.

The hands are split into two parts, with distinctive shapes which make them easy to identify in low light conditions when the luminous material is glowing.
The hands on the regular version of the Pioneer are a slightly different design, the hour hand has a circular dot and the minute hand is longer and is wider at the outer end.

The Pioneer has been in production since 2017 and continues to be one of our most popular models.
