Geckota Launches Redesigned Classic Pioneer: A Modern Take on a Timeless Icon
Tewkesbury, UK - November 14, 2024 - British watchmaker Geckota proudly announces the release of the newly redesigned Classic Pioneer, a timepiece that seamlessly blends vintage-inspired aesthetics with contemporary watchmaking excellence. This latest iteration marks a significant evolution of the Pioneer series, which has been a staple in Geckota's collection since its inception in 2017.
The 2024 Classic Pioneer features a completely overhauled three-piece cushion-style case, meticulously crafted from 316L stainless steel. Measuring 41.5mm in diameter and a slim 12.35mm in height, the case boasts a harmonious blend of polished and brushed finishes, a screw-down case back, and drilled-through lugs for easy strap changes. A distinctive custom-coloured crown insert adds a unique flair to the timepiece.
At the heart of the new Pioneer lies the reliable TMI NH38 automatic movement, offering a 42-hour power reserve and an average accuracy of ±20 seconds per day. This time-only movement, introduced by popular demand, underscores Geckota's commitment to mechanical precision and user feedback.
The watch is available in four striking sunburst dial colours: Graphite Grey, Dark Jungle Green, Imperial Red, and Sapphire Blue. Each dual-layer dial is adorned with polished indices and hands, all treated with BGW9 Super-LumiNova® for enhanced legibility in low-light conditions. A flat sapphire crystal with a beveled edge and subtle blue-tinted anti-reflective coating ensures clarity and durability.
Completing the ensemble is a custom-made, high-quality leather strap, designed for both comfort and durability, making the Pioneer suitable for any occasion - from formal events to everyday wear.
