The well-reputed Pioneer is a classic, vintage-style timepiece and this latest addition to the collection, with a brushed beige dial, is no exception. Rest assured, this timepiece upholds the exceptional quality synonymous with the Geckota brand, all while remaining budget-friendly. Every watch is uniquely engraved with its serial number, and a very limited quantity of this exquisite edition is available for purchase.

Drawing on the space-age designs that were a staple of 1960s style, this model combines retro cool with modern watchmaking craftsmanship, creating a robust and striking watch that will be sure to stand out in any collection. The overall robustness and construction allow the Pioneer to blend in for any occasion or adventure. It was the closest thing we could have come to creating a horological chameleon for your wrist, except one with its own strong identity – enhanced by a stunning array of colours and unprecedented quality at this price point. It’s a watch that very much speaks for itself, refusing to be pigeon-holed.

With a 42mm diameter and 14mm thick including the domed sapphire crystal, the Pioneer is a substantial timepiece which sits well on the wrist appearing smaller than it is, due to its cushion-style case and detailing on the dial itself. With a lug-to-lug of only 45mm even those with smaller wrists will suit this watch well. The case is constructed from 316L stainless steel and finished with a polished effect to add to the dressy appeal of this timepiece.

Featuring all the hallmarks of any classic watch the dial features a brushed finish with a fumé effect and is detailed with a delicate ‘crosshair’ that helps to enhance at a glance legibility whilst beyond that a white ring connects the applied trapezoid indices. These indices are flanked boldly by a minute track which features hash marks between each 5-minute increment. Despite all these unique features, the dial is well-considered and does not come across as cluttered. The lollipop hour hand introduces an incredibly sporty feel to the watch whilst the cathedral-style minute hand introduces a more relaxed feel to the watch. Applied markers use Super-LumiNova® for perfect legibility in any lighting conditions.

This version of the Pioneer is powered by the NH35, an automatic movement featuring a 41-hour power reserve, manufactured by Seiko and has been quality tested in-house to ensure accurate performance. This 24-jewel movement functions with an accuracy of -20~+40 seconds per day and features hacking seconds and clockwise hand-winding. It measures in at a height of 5.32mm and diameter of 27.40mm and is protected by an engraved stainless-steel screw-down case back.
